Liberty Counsel’s Staver to Pray for U.S. Judicial Branch at National Event
Today Liberty Counsel’s Founder and Chairman, Mat Staver, Esq., will lead a one-minute prayer for the judicial branch at the National Observance of the National Day of Prayer in Statuary Hall in the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., at 8:36 p.m. A livestream of the evening activities will begin at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
“I am honored to participate in the National Day of Prayer for the Judicial Branch,” said Staver. “Our judges need wisdom and discernment to make decisions that are righteous and just. May they seek the Lord so that their decisions will align with our supreme judge and lawgiver,” Staver says.
It is fitting that unity is the focus of this year’s call to prayer. Liberty Counsel encourages people to join in Mat Staver’s prayer. People can commit to pray by adding their name to our “Pray for America” initiative. Our nation is in desperate need of prayer. Those who commit to praying can receive a list of suggested topics for prayer and a complimentary copy of Liberty Counsel’s the Patriot’s Handbook on Intercessory Prayer for the United States.
One of Liberty Counsel’s many ministries, the Liberty Prayer Network, has participated in a continuous 24/7 prayer conference line since November 2016. This week’s focus is on the National Day of Prayer. {eoa}
