Democratic Presidential Candidate Apologizes for Saying ‘All Lives Matter’
Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley apologized on Saturday for saying “All lives matter” while discussing police violence against African-Americans with liberal demonstrators, according to a report by CNN. The incident took place at a NetRoots Nation Convention and was shouted down when he said “White Lives Matter,” “Black Lives Matter,” and “All Lives Matter.” The anger stems from the recent shootings of black men by police which the “Black Lives Matter” theme originated. The demonstrators, who were mostly black, booed O”Malley shouting him down and going on stage to say that the black community was in a “state of emergency.” “It really boils down to the fight for black and brown lives,” they said. “I think that all of us as Americans have a responsibility to recognize the pain and the grief throughout our country from all of the lives that have been lost to violence. Whether that’s violence at at hands of police or violence at the hands of civilians,” O’Malley told the crowd. Despite the “All Lives Matter” statement, O’Malley doesn’t believe that lives in the womb matter, black or white. In fact, former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley turned 2016 Democrat presidential hopeful, is a huge supporter of Planned Parenthood, the largest chain of abortion clinics currently embroiled in a scandal of harvesting aborted baby body parts. In 2014, O’Malley received Planned Parenthood of Maryland’s Betty Tyler Award. The Betty Tyler Award is named after a former Planned Parenthood of Maryland member of their Board of Directors. Also at the 2014 Spring Gala was Alexis McGill-Johnson, Chair of the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Attorney General Doug Gansler, Comptroller Peter Franchot, Delegate Jon Cardin, County Executive Ken Ulman, Delegate Jolene Ivey, Senator Brian Frosh, and others. In 2013, O’Malley was the keynote speaker at a Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington event. In addition to Planned Parenthood which is the largest chain of abortion clinics in the nation and founded in racist eugenics, the pro-abortion lobby group, NARAL, has also endorsed O’Malley in the past. O’Malley is facing off Hillary Clinton, a huge abortion supporter as well. Abortion kills more blacks than all other diseases combined. In addition, Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist Klan speaker whom Hillary Clinton has said she admired. So, whether you say “Black Lives Matter” or “White Lives Matter” or “All Lives Matter,” when it comes to his support of abortion and Planned Parenthood, Martin O’Malley strikes out on all three.
