Former Miss America Challenges Christians to Leverage Faith Influence

In an informational world that’s sometimes dominated by secular themes, political commentator and former Miss America Kirsten Haglund says it’s essential for Christians not to retreat.

“We shouldn’t all retreat into just Christian organizations. We’re called to be salt and light in these areas,” Haglund said on the latest episode of Pure Talk, a faith-based talk show from Pure Flix and Faithwire. “If there are no Christians in secular Hollywood, who’s going to be talking to them and at the table making these decisions?”

And Haglund wasn’t done there. She continued on, asking a rhetorical question that should really get Christians thinking.
