Tony Evans Says His Late Wife Saw ‘Something Outside Earth’s Realm’ as She Died
The goal of every baseball batter is to get home safely, Tony Evans says.
“A few days ago, Sister Evans went home. She went home,” Evans said during a tribute to his late wife, Lois Irene Evans, at her memorial service.
Lois passed away Dec. 30, surrounded by her family. Evans posted about his wife’s death later that day, saying he “had the privilege of holding her hand as she was lulled into eternity.”
Although the cause of death was not expressly stated at the time, Evans had asked for urgent prayer in October for his wife’s battle with biliary cancer.
Evans shared what his family went through when they heard the diagnosis from the doctors of a “disease they said had no cure.” Despite trying everything they could find online, overseas and from experts, the family soon realized that they couldn’t stop the inevitable.
But Evans says Lois’ death revealed something spiritual was going on.
“Simultaneous to the time of her departure were things taking place that were letting us know she was dealing with something outside of the earth’s realm,” he said. “For example, she said to some who were gathered in the room, ‘Do you see my mother? Do you see her? She’s right over there by the fireplace.’ … On another occasion, she said, ‘My father. There’s my father.’ And there was no one in the room physically. She was seeing something as the time of her departure got closer.”
