Why This Author Believes an Asteroid Will Strike Earth in 2029

Thomas Horn, author of The Wormwood Prophecy, appeared alongside fellow guest Steve Quayle on The Hagmann Report.

Host Doug Hagmann praised Horn’s book, saying “there was so much behind it—so much contained within two covers.”

The Wormwood Prophecy dissects Revelation’s wormwood star: “A great star from heaven, burning like a torch, fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters. The name of this star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter” (Rev. 8:10–11, MEV).

Horn draws from conversations with astronomers and government information specialists, and concludes with a bold prediction: an asteroid called Apophis will strike planet earth in 2029. He explains this claim in more depth in his book.

Traditional scholarly interpretation would agree that Wormwood would be an asteroid. But others (including Horn) also wonder if it could be more like an angel of God appearing in the sky to bring judgment in an instant.

In this interview, Horn explains why this topic interests him now, sharing a metaphysical experience he had when he was a young Christian hungry for more of God. To hear the story, listen to the interview in the video embedded above.
