The Tormenting Plague Produced by Critical Race Theory and Liberation Theology

What plagues or torments you? Family? Economy? Uncertainty? Crime and chaos in the streets? Political conditions?

When considering why they’re most tormented, most people think in these general terms. Rarely do we consider going beyond the “general” to delve into the depths of the essential criteria; the foundations of our eternal being; the condition of our immortal soul and its relative torment.

We live in a fallen world. In this world, we are all tormented at some level. Since it is undoubtedly most obscure, what seems most neglected is the unrelenting torment at the level of our souls. So many distractions in modern life lead us to neglect and closely interrogate the realm of our souls—but the enemy of our souls (Satan) doesn’t neglect it! He knows that’s where our minds, will and emotions reside and, therefore, it’s the place where the ultimate torment can be unleashed.

In the soul, grotesque imaginations, unbelievable levels of heartbreak and insatiably demanding aggrievements are just some of the highly emotional manipulations that can take root. Our foe manipulates it all to torment us. But fundamentally, he seeks to exalt and cement a permanent structure dedicated to himself in our souls; that structure is the totem of unforgiveness!

Satan fully understands the eternal and unequivocal demand God has declared: We must forgive to receive His forgiveness. Dire eternal consequences result from our unforgiveness, and foremost is we will not receive God’s forgiveness! It’s this clear: If we do not forgive, we will not receive His forgiveness! Mark 11:25-26 (AMP) precisely says:

“Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others]. [But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions].”

Matthew 6:14-15 (AMP) declares precisely the words of Jesus:

“For if you forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others [nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses.”

Many other scriptures also confirm God’s unequivocal condition for His forgiveness, but the point is to illuminate that our determined foe is using current trends in “religious culture” to attack the foundations of our souls, to the extent that would lead to reprobation and eternal destruction.

Critical race theory (CRT), liberation theology and Black liberation theology all share a fundamental diabolical characteristic; that characteristic is the tormenting plague: unforgiveness! Ask yourself: If you could rely on God’s overflowing grace to truly forgive others for all of the purported aggrievements and pain due to “slavery in 1800’s,” “white supremacy,” “systemic racism,” cries of “white nationalism,” “white privilege,” “victim/oppressor paradigms” and resentment toward the Western world and religion, then could you still concurrently embrace CRT and liberation theology?

If you are sincere, the answer is no! Those idea movements thrive on aggrievement and resentment; they cannot exist without embracing and committing to unforgiveness. Can you see? These neo-cultural movements are not merely a direct attack on our family, community, national sovereignty and religious foundations (by driving divisiveness and hate). They, more importantly, attack our very souls directly. They seek to separate us from our eternal promise permanently. If we continue to embrace those ideologies, we confirm the embrace of hatred and division over the grace and mercies offered by God’s forgiveness and our heavenly promise in eternity.

Now is the time for repentance! Now is the time for forgiveness! Despite these eternal priorities, some people will continue embracing unforgiveness (the plague of their souls) as they perceive it’s somehow “worth it.” We who see the plague of unforgiveness and its eternal consequences must pray fervently that our brothers and sisters will awaken and repent (in earnest) before it’s too late. When we encounter them (those supporting CRT/liberation theology), we should sincerely offer, “How should I pray for a release of your unforgiveness?”

Every Black Life Matters (EBLM) is committed to standing in the gap and hosting a National Day of Prayer and Repentance for CRT. Will you stand with us? We will announce more on this in the coming months. {eoa}
