Biden Slammed for God Reference in ‘Pride Month’ Post
“For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine, but they will gather to themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, having itching ears, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn to myths,” (2 Tim. 4:3-4).
The days of people perverting and misusing the Word of God to fit a particular narrative, agenda or ideology are upon us, and few months make it so apparent as the month of June.
This once laid-back summer month, as kids enjoy their first days of vacation, has become a yearly social battleground, as the LGBTQ+ movement has co-opted it as their “Pride Month” along with the other multitude of days and weeks they designate to celebrate their sexual activity.

But when the leader of a nation, most notably the most powerful nation on the planet, twists the words in the Bible to fit his blasphemous narrative, he can expect a healthy amount of pushback from those who know his nefarious plot.
Predictably, President Joe Biden, or the person running his social media accounts, alluded to LGBTQ+ persons, “especially young trans Americans” as being made in the image of God, implying that the Lord who made us all male and female also made the lifestyles that are polar opposites of His design and plan for humanity.
To the entire LGBTQI+ community – especially young trans Americans – know that your president and my entire Administration have your back.
We see you for who you are: made in the image of God and deserving of dignity, respect, and support.
Also just as predictable, the backlash online was swift, and aimed to direct attention at the many flaws within Biden’s pandering yet dangerous statement.
“If you believe we are ‘made in the image of God’ why do you support drugs and surgeries to cosmetically alter kids’ natural bodies? Should we not instead work to help all children accept and love their bodies?” one user commented.
“Their being made in the image of God is precisely why supporting their ‘trans’ identity is evil. Transgender ideology attempts to efface the image God in the individual, replacing it with a construct of the human will,” another responded.
Thankfully, God gives us instruction in His Word to help guide us during contentious times such as these.
We are not to just take things at face value, but to test them and see whether the spirit in which someone is speaking is of God, or not (1 John 4:1-3).
