RFK Jr. Admits to Regular Prayer, Secular Rally Crowd Erupts in Applause
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., son of the late Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy, told a huge crowd at an Arizona rally on the campaign trail for the 2024 presidential election that he wakes up and prays for 30 minutes every day when he gets out of bed. This admission prompted an eruption of applause from the audience, lasting 30 seconds.
Has prayer ever received such a standing ovation during a secular rally? Given the overt and disguised secularization of America over the last century, it’s likely that prayer has not been celebrated in a political arena so raucously and genuinely since the American Revolution and the founding of the U.S. as a constitutional republic. Perhaps prayer by America’s top leaders may be the new counterculture and “cool” thing to support.

But Kennedy was not praying aimlessly or ritualistically. He was praying specifically to help make America healthy again. And God’s response to his prayer stunned him.
After praying for two decades, Kennedy quipped about the Lord’s answer to his prayer: “God sent me Donald Trump.”
