Hillary Clinton’s Marco Rubio Nightmare

Share:

Hillary Clinton’s worst nightmare is NOT the GOP Select Benghazi Committee. It is not Bernie Sanders and it isn’t even her adlibbing husband Bill Clinton on the campaign trail. No, the bet here is that she loses the most sleep over Marco Rubio.

On the debate stage in Boulder Wednesday night, Rubio unveiled his immense natural political talent. Jeb Bush found out the hard way. Hillary may be next. He has an uncanny knack for taking a negative question and turning it into a positive. He does it so effortlessly. Imagine what he could do with the material Hillary Clinton will provide him with? Wow. Plus, elections are about the future and optimism and that’s exactly what Rubio is selling. His youth works for him in this regard. Throw in his Cuban background and that helps in the diversity area too. Meanwhile, Clinton is much older and represents the establishment. What a contrast. It has to have some in the GOP salivating at the prospects of this.

Rubio hasn’t taken off yet in the polls but he’s not in the lower tier either. He’s hanging around and that’s just fine in “Rubio World.” There’s no doubt that he’ll be one of the final five candidates standing.  Remember, he did come from the Tea Party movement so his constitutional conservative core is relatively solid despite a few hiccups. His faith is solid which can make him attractive to evangelicals. And the GOP establishment likes him too. Sounds like the political trinity or as close as you may get.
