Prophetic Dream: Deep Encounters With God are Coming
Just a few days ago, the Lord gave me a significant prophetic dream. In the dream, I heard the Lord say, “Until now.”
I was sitting next to a tree and a snake dropped its head down beside me from out of the branches of the tree. I assumed that the snake was not poisonous because of the shape of its head. However, it hissed at me and opened its mouth several times as if it intended to bite me. Then I heard the Lord say, “Choices.”
As I woke up from the dream, I went straight into the place of prayer. God began to speak to me about the prophetic dream. I believe the snake in the dream represents voices and influences that people do not think are toxic or harmful for them. However, they are poisonous. Until now, there have been voices, influences and choices that many have been listening to and making that have not seemed poisonous, but they are! This is a warning for the body of Christ to be careful and discerning about what and who we listen to or allow to have influence in our lives.
Passive Christianity is over. This is a season when we must go wholeheartedly after the things of God. As we move forward into the “New Era,” as the body of Christ we must pursue the kingdom of God and move in the will and purpose God has for each of us. John 16:24 says, “Until now, you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” Until now, what have you really been believing for? What have you been moving forward into?
I believe God highlighted this Scripture in John by saying, “until now” in the prophetic dream. Many of you have never asked and therefore you have never received! Until now, some of you have never asked for your prophetic words or dreams to come to pass. Until now, many have not asked the Lord for what He has placed on your heart. Don’t let those prophetic seeds and Godly desires lie dormant any longer. You may not have asked until now. But now is the time to ask and you will receive!
Jesus tells His disciples that He wants them to ask so that their joy may be full. Many feel stuck, discouraged and disappointed not because God hasn’t come through, but because they haven’t asked! You will experience true joy when you are right in the middle of God’s will and purpose for your life. However, in order to get there, we must be willing to ask the Lord to do what only He can do in our lives!
The word ask is not limited to just salvation. That is just basic Christianity. Jesus came, lived, died and was resurrected for our sins to be forgiven. Yes, He is alive, but where is He now? Jesus is at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me! In this season, we must partner with the prayers Jesus is praying over each of our lives and step into His purpose and destiny for us. As believers in this season, we need to ask for the full manifestation of God’s kingdom to come in every area of our lives. We must go to God with boldness and ask, expecting to receive.
In the upcoming month of May, I believe many will have deep encounters with God. Set yourself apart to God in May. Fast, set time aside for prayer and reading the Word of God. May will be marked by life-changing encounters with God for those who are willing to seek His face. Deep encounters are coming!
“Until now” is a statement to describe a situation that has existed up until this very moment. Until now, your life has been a certain way with certain circumstances and limitations. However, it is about to change! Now you are about to move forward.
Until now, the church in America and the nations of the earth have understood and functioned on the most basic level of Christianity. But now, in this season the kingdom of God will be advanced and manifested in and through the lives of sons and daughters of God like never before! Make key choices in this season. Get ready for deep encounters and for a powerful shift in the Spirit in the month of May! {eoa}
