Aventer Gray, wife of Relentless Church Pastor John Gray, says it’s only the grace of God and the prayers of multitudes of believers that is keeping her husband alive.
John Gray, 49, was admitted to the critical care unit at a hospital in Greeneville, S.C., for a saddle pulmonary embolism (SPE) with additional life-threatening blood clots in his lungs. He was transferred to a hospital in Atlanta, where doctors are watching him around the clock.
On Instagram, Gray says the SPE is in a position that could potentially end his life if it shifts at all, and that only God is keeping him alive.

To applause and a shout of “We love you, Bill,” Johnson encouraged with Scripture and story-telling the hearts of worshippers in Redding, California, and around the world on Sunday, three days after his 67-year-old wife, mother and co-pastor passed from earth to heaven on July 14.
He thanked people who prayed day and night for Beni Johnson outside their home, and around the world as urgent requests for healing spread from Redding. “For the prayer, I will owe you for the rest of my life for that.”
One nation under God. This familiar sentence from our nation’s Pledge of Allegiance is a decree and a declaration that has served as the very fabric and foundation for the prosperity and preservation of the United States of America since its inception.
But what does this profound statement reveal prophetically?
A Promise of God Extending His Goodness
Many have wondered what the primary reason is for the continued success and prosperity of this nation, despite the fact that the mainstream culture has made a concerted effort to push God out as much as humanly possible. The simple answer is this: The forefathers of the United States decided to dedicate America to God. This has proven true for generations, as no other country has spent more time and money on preaching the gospel across the world.
