Are People in Your Life Hindering the Manifestation of Your Miracle?
LaJun and Valora Cole say that sometimes, you need to remove yourself from the people around you who don’t have enough faith to believe in the miracle God wants to do in your life. They could be hindering the manifestation of that miracle.
“I love Luke Chapter 8. … God gives [Jairus] a prophetic promise that his daughter was going to be made whole,” LaJun says. “And He says, ‘And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden’ [v. 51, KJV].
“You know, sometimes in some of our situations, we’ve got people around us who don’t believe like we believe and don’t have a vested interest in the miracle that we need God to perform. And in those cases, you’ve got to put everybody else out of the room. The only people He brought in were people that He knew had either a vested interest—which was the mother and the father, or some of His disciples who had the power. They stood with Him, and they were having faith.”
God spoke things prophetically both to the Coles and others that then actually manifested in the form of opportunities or financial provision, LaJun and Valora Cole say on the Prophetic Moments podcast on the Charisma Podcast Network.
“One of the things that we have certainly seen as the hand of God is whenever God says something, whenever He speaks something to His servants, He begins to manifest that word,” Valora says. “We begin to see God do things suddenly in our own lives and then in the lives of others where there [were] supernatural miracles, where it was supernatural checks in the mail, open doors, many opportunities, and so He’s the same God yesterday, today and forevermore.”
