Watching Assemblies of God Pastor Samuel Rodriguez pray at the inauguration of former President Donald J. Trump, a Pentecostal pastor and his wife agreed their Colorado church would someday host the fiery Hispanic preacher whose powerful presence filled the television screen.

“The power of God fell. I looked at her and said, ‘Someday at the right time, this man has to be at Word of Life,'” Pastor Tim Bagwell said, introducing Rodriguez at the church’s Fresh Fire Conference.

Rodriguez, pastor of New Season Christian Worship Center in Sacramento and president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, prophesied that revival is coming to Colorado and the nation.

Rodriguez immediately responded to his introduction in Denver with a prophetic word for Tim and Gayla Bagwell, who’ve preached for 50 years—27 of them at Word of Life.

“The second harvest will be greater than the first,” Rodriguez began. “You are about to see more people saved, healed, delivered and filled with God’s Spirit than ever before. You are about to see the glory of God with you, in you, through you and for you.

“The next thing to fill Denver and America will not be a brand new variant [of COVID]. The next thing to fill Denver and America will be the glory of Jesus.

“We are about to see more people come to Jesus than ever before in human history, and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will make Azusa look like an opening act,” Rodriguez prophesied. “The Jesus Movement will look like a rehearsal.”

Baptism in the Holy Spirit and divine healing followed the preaching of Rodriguez and Pastors Ronnie Harrison and Tony Suarez at Fresh Fire.

Bagwell agreed with Rodriguez that Denver is due for a spiritual outpouring and harvest of souls. “I believe Denver is getting ready to be known for the gospel,” he said.

“About 100 years ago, Aimee Semple McPherson came to this city, and the power of God fell,” Bagwell added. “So many signs, wonders and miracles followed that everything stopped at 12 noon for prayer. People fell on the sidewalks of downtown Denver and called out to God.”

Whether yesterday or 100 years ago, miracles and supernatural demonstrations of power are needed today. “I don’t know about you, but I’m not interested in church as usual,” Bagwell said.
