Late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel knows a thing or two about viral videos, especially around Christmastime.
But his latest segment, while cute, shows just how far American culture has drifted from the true meaning of Christmas.
When asked about the Christmas story—basics like “Who was born on Christmas?” “Who is the Virgin Mary?”—the kids answer with pop culture icons, not exactly the story described in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
But some are quite familiar with the nativity story, down to the angels, the wise men and the stable.
