A Global Positioning System, or GPS, is technology that helps people find their way to their intended destination. For a believer, a personal GPS, which stands for gifts, passion and story, is God’s way of helping them find the destiny to which He has called them.

Rob Wegner, who leads the Kansas City Underground, a decentralized network of reproducing disciples and microchurches, says believers simply need to tap into their own GPS to discover their “masterpiece mission.”

“Similar to a GPS, there is a soul technology that God has created in His people through the presence of the Holy Spirit,” Wegner told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of “Greenelines” on the Charisma Podcast Network. “When we begin to tune into the signals of our gifts, passion and story, the Holy Spirit will reveal to us not only where we are, but actually the pathway to our personal calling.

“We believe, according to Ephesians 2:10, that each one of us is a masterpiece that has been created by Christ Jesus to accomplish a set body of good works that is uniquely ours. Each one of us has a unique name a destiny, a place that God has called us to join Him in this sweeping mission to redeem all things. And GPS—gifts, passion and story—is the way to find it.”
