Alex Jones to Roseanne Barr: Satanic Cults, Demonic Attacks—and ‘How the Holy Spirit Set Me Free’
Alex Jones, known for his massive media presence, recently shared with Roseanne Barr his deeply personal accounts of mystical experiences and spiritual battles that have shaped his understanding of the spiritual realm.
Jones recounted several early experiences that revealed to him the reality of the spiritual realm. He explained, “I certainly young realized that there was something to the spiritual realm… this dimension is just a reflection of the call it higher dimensions.”

These encounters included dreams that came true and moments of divine warning. “Sometimes I would actually hear a voice saying, ‘This is about to happen,’ usually warnings, and then it happening quite a few times,” he recalled. These experiences of foresight deepened his belief in the spiritual forces at work in the world.
As a child, Jones also faced spiritual attacks that challenged his faith and shaped his spiritual awareness. One such incident left him with a dislocated shoulder after being thrown across a room by an unseen force. These occurrences, though frightening, shaped his understanding of spiritual warfare and helped him develop discernment.
Jones’ encounters with the supernatural were only getting started. At the age of 12, Jones was approached by girls from his neighborhood who invited him into a satanic cult where he never fully participated, seeing the torches and the black hoods of those in the cult on full display.
“For a couple years, 14, 15, I was, you know, becoming influenced by evil, visions, the ideas, you know, all of it,” he admitted. However, at 18, Jones experienced a transformative moment with the Holy Spirit, describing it as a “big, big Holy Ghost experience.” This encounter set him on the path of his current mission. “God gave me a mission,” he said, revealing how his faith was the driving force behind his work.
Jones believes his experiences were not random but a divine intervention. “Since then I’ve been just getting stronger,” he stated, expressing his growing strength in faith and purpose.
