Joe Biden was declared the winner in the battleground states of Wisconsin and Michigan Wednesday afternoon, putting him on the brink of the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency of the United States.

As of 5:30 p.m., Biden had won 264 electoral votes to President Donald Trump’s 214. States where electoral votes were still being contested at press time were Pennsylvania (20), North Carolina (15), Georgia (16), Nevada (6) and Alaska (3), according to foxnews.com.

Trump would have to win all five of those states to retain the White House. Stay tuned to Charismanews.com for further updates. {eoa}
