All around the nation, Americans—Christian or not—are taking time this weekend to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. GOD TV will mark the event with a worldwide simulcast that remembers the victims of the terror attacks and challenges believers to spiritual revival.

A Wake Up Call for God’s People with Anne Graham Lotz and Joel Rosenberg will air on the GOD Channel worldwide on Sunday at 7 p.m. EST, as well as in churches across the USA.

“GOD TV joins A Wake Up Call for God’s People in honoring the victims of 9/11, sending condolences to their families and challenging our viewers to be on fire for God in these last days,” says Wendy Alec, GOD TV’s co-founder and director of television.

As conflict and chaos shake many parts of the world, Lotz and Rosenberg believe alarms are being sounded to wake up the body of Christ and aim to uphold the Word of God as the only real answer in troubled times and to reignite believers with a passion for Jesus. This is the vision behind A Wake Up Call for God’s People, which will include challenging messages from both speakers and worship led by Dove Award-winning music group, Selah.

Well-known on the GOD Channel for his Epicenter conferences, which focus on the latest developments in the Middle East, Rosenberg is a New York Times best-selling author and authority on end-time events. He has valuable insights to share on what is happening in the world right now, according to Bible prophecy, and as founder of The Joshua Fund, he constantly mobilizes Christians to bless Israel and her neighbors with humanitarian relief.

The daughter of veteran evangelist Billy Graham and his wife Ruth, Lotz is the founder of AnGeL Ministries and has faithfully proclaimed God’s Word for more than 30 years. She is also an award-winning author of several books including, Expecting to See Jesus: A Wake Up Call for God’s People.

In this book Lotz details the signs of Christ’s return and writes about how the world must realize that 9/11 was a wake-up call from God, that they have pushed God out of their government and schools, and it’s time to repent and invite Him back.

Selah is made up of Todd Smith, Allan Hall and Amy Perry, who have a collective desire to share stories of hope they have discovered through surrender to God and through their music.

The GOD Channel can be viewed across the U.S. on channel 365 of DirecTV, as well as on select local cable stations in certain cities. Online viewers can watch at www.god.tv/live or at www.god.tv/video via video on demand.
