How the Wrong Music, Wrong People Can Hinder You From Receiving God’s Blessings

Do you ever pay attention to the lyrics of the music you listen to? What about the content of the things you watch on TV? Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts warns that if we aren’t careful, we can give ourselves over to serving something other than God, which will lead to destruction. What we feed our mind can either hinder or further our progress toward obtaining all the good things God wants to give us. (Recall how many Israelites, including Moses, did not get to see the promised land because of their grumbling and doubting; see Num. 14:21-24.)

“There is a window that is about to take place in the spirit realm, and only those nimble enough and sensitive enough to fit in that window are going to be able to move when God says, ‘Move,'” Roberts says. ” … I’m looking for the kind of anointing that makes principalities come down; I’m looking for the kind of anointing that breaks strongholds.

“I don’t know about you, but I don’t want this regular little anointing; I want the kind of anointing that makes the world stop and stand and wonder what’s happening in this world. So I’ve got to get connected to somebody who’s already operating in the lane that I’m headed to.”
