I woke up from a dream about a preacher who I had known some time ago. He had a powerful voice when I knew him. In the dream, he had changed his mode of operations from a traveling revivalist to preaching in a building and leading a local church. In my dream, his church was broadcasting the audio online … like a podcast of his live messages.
In the dream, I was taken back by the lack of power, anointing and life in his messages. It was so dry. There was a lack of tangible Holy Spirit power. His words seemed so different than when I had known him. There was no spiritual charge on his words, and the style of his delivery seemed flat. It was totally different. The audio was also very bad with lots of sounds issues. I was wondering why they would put out such poor quality and what happened to his voice (in the spiritual sense). Then I woke up.
When I woke up, I kept thinking about the dream and went into a time of prayer. Immediately, the Lord began to speak to me.
I believe this dream has several warnings. First, we need to understand that it is not an hour for preachers to make spiritual assumptions, pursuing things that heaven has not endorsed for their lives. Getting in the wrong position minimizes your anointing and spiritual thrust. It causes you to move outside of your grace. There is divine position, placement and timing. Each leader is born with unique purpose; we cannot afford to get outside of our mandate. The enemy will subtly come in an attempt to move us into assignments and places that heaven has not ordained for our lives! There is divine alignment with identity and function.
“Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead)” (Gal. 1:1).
This verse affirms the fact that Paul knew what he was called to do and who had positioned him there. He understood that it was God’s divine positioning and appointment that was critical for his life. We need to recognize this same principle today. There is a unique destiny, election and calling upon our lives, and we cannot be moved by the opinions of man!
As I kept praying, I heard the Lord say to me, “There will be people who pressure you to move where I have not called or graced you to be. Resist it at all costs. There are also those who want to edit your mode of operations, but by doing so, they water down your potency. Find my plan, my position and my flow for you and refuse to move. Be steadfast and operate in raw determination.”
I believe that the Lord desires to solidify His people in divine position for maximum flow and effect! As I kept praying over the dream, I couldn’t get past the poor quality of sound in the broadcast. The Lord began to speak to me about noise confusion. The sound in my dream was muffled, lacking clarity. There were interruptions of the sound. This represents noise confusion. There is a demonic strategy to diminish the government of heaven in the earth. Every fivefold leader carries the embassy of heaven inside him or her. There is a governmental weight that will manifest through their unique grace. If the enemy can confuse their purpose, he can pollute the sound and hinder the flow of impact.
Many are operating in noise confusion as they are trying to be something they are not called to be. This is an hour for clarity and precision in the realm of the spirit. There is no time to move outside of the flow of heaven. The things that are being birthed, that are authentic, will have mass impact, but the illegitimate ones are sowing seeds of confusion in the earth. We need a clear sound! We need trumpets that alert the people of God and are precise in operation!
“If the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare himself for battle?” (1 Cor. 14:8).
I pray for divine clarity, staying power and a clear sound. I pray for clear understanding, unique assignments and proper function for God’s leaders. I pray that every fivefold leader gets in position and stays in position. I break the spirit of competition and comparison. I pray that the people of God come into full awareness of their individual assignments and corporate mandate. I pray for unique mantles and movements to arise. I pray for the dedicated ones to lead the charge of obedience. I pray for the sound of heaven to be released on earth. I pray for prophets and prophetic leaders to be sure of the mission and assignment, to release a clear sound. I decree that all plans of delay, hindrance and impatience be broken. I decree that all noise confusion be canceled, in the name of Jesus. Amen. {eoa}
