Shame on Sprite for Partnering With Destructive Transgender Indoctrination
The abandonment of the public square by those holding to the Judeo-Christian faith has enabled secularism’s enchanters and warlocks to impose pagan values on the American culture over the last 100 years.
In large part the debasement of the mores and manners is the consequence of increasing secular control and misuse of the cultural levers of influence—for example, education, academia, mass media, courts, Big Business, Fortune 500, Hollywood and others. Christian spirituality and the sacred are invariably belittled, whereas sin is consistently exalted and normalized over every communication medium by corporate America’s advertising dollars.
Sprite’s latest commercial glamorizes and idealizes transgender people—those who are troubled with the psychological difficulties of gender dysphoria. (To watch the Sprite commercial, go to youtube.com and search for “Pride – Sprite.”)
It might not be so surprising since the word “sprite” denotes an enchanter, goblin or demon.
“Politicians are actors performing a script that is written by the audience,” Russell Kirk observed.
The politician in this case is Sprite, who appears to think that the script writers are limited to the small but vocal LGBTQ community and fellow travelers. Sprite urgently needs to hear from the majority script writers across the whole of America in order to learn a lesson that cannot be learned in any other way.
And that lesson?
It will come from the wholesale commitment by millions of people to never drink another Coke, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Zero, Fanta, Sprite, Dasani, Vitamin Water, Powerade, Minute Maid, Simply, Del Valle, Georgia coffee or Gold Peak tea until the promotion of sin has ceased by Coca-Cola, its companies and subsidiaries.
The outrage that Sprite through its corporate advertising encourages and enables those with psychological difficulties, in this case transgenders, is a failure of corporate responsibility. Even worse, Sprite is partnering with those indoctrinating through public education our most vulnerable and impressionable, the K-6 graders, into lifestyles and attitudes that are destructive and lead to misery.
“You can’t be born in the wrong body—it’s our minds that need treatment, not our sex. The mental health services will look back at this episode [in American history] as another dark chapter in the treatment of people with psychological difficulties,” says Will Malone, MD. (See thetimes.co.uk).
“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Prov. 14:34)
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People,” John Adams said in 1798, adding that “it is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
The category “wholly inadequate” includes Sprite, Coca-Cola and rogue Supreme Court Justices discovering after over 200 years homosexual intercourse and marriage in the Constitution. Also included are all those who depart from the fixed boundaries of moral character consistent with the biblically based culture laid down by America’s Founders.
