Some 2,000 years ago, a young man died on a cross, though He did nothing wrong. His friends, heartbroken and terrified of the persecution awaiting them after His horrific death, desperately searched for a glimpse of hope.
But as we know, hope rose again with Jesus on Easter. In a vivid depiction of this remarkable story, Resurrection allows viewers a window into the disciples’ journey with the risen Savior.

The film, produced by husband and wife duo Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, releases March 27, 2021, and the creators pray it will be a source of family friendly content. “Faithful audiences crave content that speaks to their faith and values,” they say.
