Mark Driscoll made his return to writing books with Spirit-Filled Jesus, due out this fall from Charisma House.
“We don’t want you to just admire the life of Jesus; we want you to experience it by the power of the Holy Spirit,” Driscoll says.
He and his wife Grace sat down recently with Charisma’s founder and CEO Stephen Strang at the YouTube building to discuss the book.
“There’s a lot written on the Holy Spirit, and there’s a lot written on Jesus, but there’s not a lot written on the ministry and role of the Holy Spirit in and through the life of Jesus,” Driscoll tells Strang.
“I think this is an important message. And if we have the same power of the Holy Spirit, that means that transformation can start to happen in our lives to where we become increasingly more like Jesus,” Driscoll says.
