While Christians are called to turn the other cheek, they are not called to the presence of sin.

In this video, Pastor Shane Idleman talks about how he received a directive from Isaiah 58:1-3, calling Christians to get off their couches, get out of their comfort zones and lift up their voices like a trumpet in telling God’s people their sins.

Truth spoken in love will help Christians, like the children of Israel, truly follow the leading of the Holy Spirit by following the leading of the Word of God. After all, Pastor Idleman says, “You’re not trying to win a popularity contest.”
