The Parkland community gathered to mourn and pray after a gunman opened fire in MS Douglas High School, murdering 17.

“When our hearts are broken, our souls feel hopeless,” a pastor began at the prayer vigil, which was held at Parkridge Church in Coral Springs, Florida. “And when there’s so much brokenness around us, where do we go? Who do we go to? How do we cope? How do we find the strength?”

The answer lies is Psalm 46.
