White Supremacy in America? Biracial Parent Isn’t Buying It

For those who believe in the critical race theory, for those who don’t believe that minorities have been given a fair chance in America, Brian Echevarria has a message for you: It’s a lie.

A biracial small businessman and parent in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, who is running for the state House of Representatives this fall, Echevarria says his own life experiences should show people that everyone has a chance in America to live a successful life and to be happy.

“I’m biracial, I’m bilingual and I’m multicultural, and the fact is that in and in North Carolina and in America I can do anything I want, and I teach that to my children that,” Echevarria told Harris Faulkner on a recent edition of The Faulkner Focus on Fox News. “The person that tells my little pecan-colored kids that they are somehow oppressed based on the color of their skin would be absolutely wrong and absolutely at war with me. The parents don’t want it [CRT]. It’s a big fat lie. If you believe in CRT, I want to tell you that you are a liar.

“Somebody has to stand up. Everybody on the left is standing up and saying, they’re white supremacists and they are racist. Well, if having a thriving small business and raising small children who are confident … when did that become the idea of white supremacy?

“Our school board actually passed a non-discrimination resolution trying to cut off the CRT. There has been overwhelming support actually. The consensus is that parents are tired of it. We’re raising our kids to be dynamic in so many ways, then here comes the left telling them that they are not dynamic; they can’t be, you’re black, you can’t do. I think we are all just tired of it.”
