Addict Who Stole Feucht’s Guitar Finds Radical Redemption in Christ

Zach receives Christ

Sean Feucht adamantly believes in the power of God’s redemption. He has seen it in his own life, and now he’s seen a miracle happen in the life of a man who had violated his personal property.

A man named Zach, who had broken into Feucht’s car and stolen the evangelist and worship leader’s cherished 1967 Ghallager guitar in June in Spokane, Washington, not only came to salvation in Jesus Christ earlier this week, but was also baptized in the kingdom.

“What was once lost has now been found,” Feucht said on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, not referring to his guitar but Zach’s life. “Our God is a redeeming God.”

In June, Feucht asked his social media followers to pray for “justice,” and he got it less than a week later after revealing that a friend had found the stolen guitar at a pawn shop in Spokane and purchased it back for Feucht.

On his Facebook page Feucht simply wrote: “God writes the best stories. Zach gave his life to Jesus and was baptized because a BOLD CHURCH refused to back down” (from praying for Zach).

Feucht told his more than 100,000 followers on X in June that getting his guitar back was a “Sunday miracle.”

When the break-in occurred two months ago, Feucht posted the following on X:

“Although I had to pay thousands of dollars to get my car fixed and buy the guitar back from a pawn shop, it will all be worth it if Zach surrenders his life to Jesus.”

Days after the guitar was retrieved, Zach confessed and asked for forgiveness from a friend of Feucht’s named Dean while he was doing some street ministry in Spokane. On Instagram, Feucht reported that the guitar had been traded for drugs and then sold to the pawn shop.

Feucht’s headline on his Instagram page read: “BREAKING NEWS: MAN WHO STOLE MY GUITAR WRECKED BY GOD’s LOVE.”

“Only God can write a story like this. He takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns it around,” Feucht told Churchleaders.com.

More than 7,000 showed up at Feucht’s worship event in Spokane on Sunday night—a surprise to Feucht considering the wildfires blazing in Washington. But the biggest surprise for Feucht was when Zach showed up at the event and was baptized. {eoa}
