Atheists Launch Vile Attack on Christian Sheriff—Here’s His Shocking Response
A Florida sheriff is under fire for taking his uniform to the pulpit. In doing so, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is now a target for the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
“Promoting your personal religion using your Polk County title and uniform gives the unfortunate impression that the county supports and endorses the First Baptist Church at the Mall and it’s religious teachings,” FFR attorney Andrew Siedel wrote, according to the Tampa Tribune.
But Judd isn’t too worried—or offended.
“I would love to ask them what I can do to help them? I’m not angry or mad at all. But then I’d tell them if they’re as vile and curt as the letter sounded, I will pray for them,” he tells the Tribune.
The organization reportedly threatened a lawsuit if Judd continued preaching in his uniform, but Judd doesn’t appear to be phased.
Should Judd wear his uniform when preaching? Sound off!
