Family Refused to Tip Waitress Because She ‘Doesn’t Love Jesus’

A family refused to tip their lesbian waitress because she “doesn’t love Jesus,” according to a viral picture of a receipt.

One woman says her friend was stiffed on a tip because she is a lesbian.

“I would just like to say that being gay does NOT MEAN you don’t believe in God or Jesus. And people who are “religious” should not disrespect or act in such ways to other people. p.s., they spelled tattoo wrong,” Joelle Nicole Maish posted to Facebook.

The picture shows an equality tattoo with a a receipt that says, “Can’t tip someone who doesn’t love Jesus. Bad tatoo [sic].”

Some say the story is faked, but that hasn’t stopped the internet from jumping on the bandwagon.

“Obviously the couple is not truly Christian. … if you judge others and behave in such a nasty manner!” one person commented on the photo.

Another wrote: “That shows you they really don’t believe in love or Jesus.. I am sorry you had to endure this. It is unacceptable!”

“Fake Christians. Mean people, they give religion it’s bad name. Man can be so evil. They pass judgement. I say [obscene phrase] God loves you, don’t care what MAN tells you. Hugs,” posted another.
