GEB and ORU Announce Original Family-Friendly Christmas Special
GEB America is excited to announce the release of its original primetime television Christmas special, produced and performed by staff and students at Oral Roberts University. Noël: A Musical Celebration of Christmas will air several times the week of Christmas, including at 2:00 p.m. CST on Christmas Eve on GEB and KGEB TV 53 in Tulsa.
“Christmas is one of the most exciting times of the year, and we are thrilled about this opportunity to present to our audiences an amazing reminder of the real reason for the season with a stream of entertainment for the entire family,” said GEB America CEO Ossie Mills. “ORU and GEB are blessed with talented people. Noël: A Musical Celebration of Christmas showcases that talent while also celebrating the season in a unique and powerful way.”
The one-hour Christmas special will also air on WTLW in Lima, Ohio; WBNA in Louisville, Kentucky; CTN 10 in Punta Gorda, Florida; and WACX in Orlando, Florida; as well as on GodTV globally and LoveWorld-USA.
The special features the performance of Christian artist Andy Chrisman, formerly with the group 4Him. Chrisman currently serves as global worship pastor at Tulsa’s Church on the Move.
The program also includes performances by ORU Live, NuVoices, the ORU Chorale, ORU Chamber Strings and ORU Dance. Each year, the ORU Music Department prepares a variety of Christmas performances for the Tulsa community. Admission to the concert was one unwrapped toy to be given to the Salvation Army. This year, nearly 3,000 people attended the concert at ORU’s Christ’s Chapel.
