Televangelist Pat Robertson says fellow evangelist Billy Graham was the “preeminent voice of evangelical Christianity.”

“To say the least, we’re saddened at the passing of our dear friend Billy Graham,” Robertson says on The 700 Club. “Billy was suffering from so many ailments. He had a shunt in his brain, he had prostate cancer. … He was holding on. But at 99 years old, he’s finally gone to be with the Lord.”

Robertson himself just recovered from a stroke.
