Thousands filled the G12 Center in central Bogotá for the opening session of the Empowered21 Latin America Congress on Wednesday night. The more than 15,000 registered delegates represent the largest attendance ever at an Empowered21 Congress.

Host pastor, Cesar Castellanos of International Charismatic Mission and Pastor Cash Luna of Casa de Dios Ministries in Guatemala, delivered keynote addresses during the opening session. As two of the most highly regarded Spirit-empowered leaders from Latin America, Cash and Castellanos’ messages set the direction for a powerful event.

On Thursday, three international evangelists that have led massive crusades around the globe opened the morning session. Daniel Kolenda. co-chair of the E21 Global Evangelist Alliance and perhaps one of today’s most renowned Spirit-filled evangelists, hosted the morning and paved the way for his colleagues to deliver three dynamic messages of hope and inspiration. Leading off was Jean-Luc Tracshel, director of the International Association of Healing Ministries, followed by Nathan Morris of Shake the Nations, and Todd White with Lifestyle Christianity. The three delivered compelling testimonies and messages followed by an extended time of prayer.

In the afternoon, several women who are leaders in the G12 church moderated a session on leadership with special guest Rep. Angela Sanchez. Others included Dr. Clara Sandoval and Pastor Claudia Castellanos, along with daughters Manuella, Sara, Johanna, and Lorena Castellanos.

In the evening session, Empowered21 co-chair Dr. Billy Wilson delivered one of two keynote messages. Wilson highlighted the growing presence of evangelical, Spirit-empowered believers in Latin America over the last 50 years. He also pointed out the expanding population segment, “Generation Z,” and the challenges that lie before global believers in winning them to Christ.

“The Lord spoke into my soul that this generation will find out who they are when they find out who I (God) am,” said Wilson.

The Thursday evening session concluded with a stirring message of hope and inspiration in song and sermon from Pastors Ricardo and Patricia Rodriguez.

The 2019 Latin America Congress closes Friday with morning sessions that include messages from Julian Gamba, Andres Corson, and Jose Luis Barrios. The afternoon sessions will feature the prophetic and include guests Juanita Cercone and Cindy Jacobs, followed by an evening service and keynote messages from Rev. Omar Cabrera, Pastor Jimena Castaneda, and Pastors Claudio and Betty Friedzon.

Livestream of the conference is available at E21bogota.com.

Empowered21 leadership invites all believers to Israel for the Jerusalem 2020 Global Congress. The celebration of Pentecost is expected to be one of the largest Christian gatherings in modern Israeli history. Jerusalem 2020 is slated for May 31 – June 3, 2020 and will take place at the Pais Arena in Jerusalem.
