Barbra Streisand Blames Trump for School Shooting, Says Voter Machines Were ‘Rigged’
Singer/actress Barbra Streisand has never waned in her disdain for President Trump over the past couple of years, but even Streisand is taking her comments to a whole other level these days.
Streisand told Variety magazine she blames the president for the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, and that she believes her good friend, Hillary Clinton, “really won” the 2016 presidential election.
“I think even that shooter (Nikolas Cruz) was affected, because Trump brings out the violence in people,” she told Variety.
Streisand shared her suspicions with Variety that the 2016 election saw voter machine tampering in some states.
“I’ve talked to senators from Michigan and Wisconsin,” Streisand says. “I do believe, like I believed during Bush, they were playing with those voter machines. And [Al Gore] lost by 537 votes out of 104 million.”
The Variety article also reveals that Streisand was with Clinton on the day Clinton called Trump supporters, “A basket of deplorables.” According to many analysts, that was one of Clinton’s worst mistakes and might have cost her the election.
Last July, Streisand wrote an article for the Huffington News titled, “The Fake President,” in which she wrote, “There’s a narcissistic fraud in the White House.” She also wrote that “Trump wants to be Obama—held in high esteem.”
In the Variety article, she calls Trump “crooked” and “a liar.” {eoa}
