Watch Live: Attorney General Jeff Sessions to Testify Before the Senate Intel Committee

Attorney General Jeff Sessions was scheduled to testify Tuesday before the Senate Intelligence Committee beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m. EDT.

The focus of the testimony will largely focus on the Department of Justice’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. However, given that Sessions has recused himself from that investigation, it is unlikely he will provide much useful information in that regard.

Instead, it is widely expected he will instead refute many key pieces of testimony given last week by former FBI Director James Comey. Shortly after his testimony before the same committee last week, the Department of Justice issued a statement that accused the former director of lying under oath to the committee members.

You can watch the full hearing in the video clip above. {eoa}
