Friends of Zion Launches Global Campaign to Move Embassies to Jerusalem

Friends of Zion Heritage Center has launched a global campaign to motivate more nations to move their Israel embassies to Jerusalem.

Friends of Zion Museum founder Mike Evans says world leaders who make the decision to do so will receive the Friend of Zion Award, the same award presented to President Donald Trump after he announced the U.S. would move its Israeli embassy to Jerusalem.

Earlier this month, Evans presented Trump with the award during a ceremony in the oval office—an event attended by Vice President Pence, Senior Advisors Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump and faith leaders representing over 150 million Christians globally.

In direct correlation to President Trump’s announcement and the subsequent recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Guatemalan president Jimmy Morales announced recently that he has instructed his foreign office to move that country’s Israeli embassy to Jerusalem.

The Friends of Zion Museum has recognized these historic declarations with a massive international campaign, kick started with a huge banner thanking President Trump and President Morales for supporting Jerusalem.

Guatemala sports a large evangelical community, and the Friends of Zion Museum has consistently educated the Guatemalan people and other communities around the world about Israel in order to strengthen Jerusalem.

President Trump’s historic declaration regarding Jerusalem takes its place as one of Israel’s historic milestones, from the Balfour Declaration to President Truman’s acceptance of Israel into the family of nations. These heroes are lauded in the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem to tell the stories of characters throughout history that have stood by the Jewish people and helped establish the State of Israel.

These non-Jewish Zionists are engraved in history, and millions of people worldwide have learned of their heroism thanks to the groundbreaking work of Dr. Evans and the Friends of Zion Museum.

The Friends of Zion Heritage Center has become one of the central institutions in the state of Israel influencing the world and strengthening Israel’s relations globally while fortifying the pillars of the state of Israel. In addition to more than 31 million members worldwide, the museum has hosted over 100 diplomats such as U.S. Ambassador David Freedman, Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and tens of thousands of Christian and Jewish leaders, NBA and NFL superstars, leading Hollywood actors and singers.

Friends of Zion is the largest pro-Israel social network movement worldwide. To give an example of its reach, the group has nearly 6 million members in India, more than 5.7 million members in Indonesia and nearly 3.7 million members in the Philippines. {eoa}
