Nearly 20,000 People Watch Live Ultrasound in Times Square
Focus on the Family broadcast a live ultrasound for thousands of people gathered in Times Square at the Alive in New York event. On May 4, Christian leaders like Alveda King, Francesca Battistelli and Benjamin Watson gathered to celebrate life in the heart of New York City. But the highlight of the event was a live 4D Ultrasound of former Planned Parenthood director (and Unplanned star) Abby Johnson’s baby.
Jim Daly, president of Focus on the Family, wrote on his blog that “nearly 20,000 people” attended the event and that “Hollywood couldn’t have scripted the day and event any better. After a rainy morning, and just minutes before the program was set to begin, the rain stopped, the clouds lifted and a warm spring sun filled Manhattan’s iconic plazas.”
