Women of Faith is getting a bit of a makeover. Well, sort of.

Live Event Management, Thomas Nelson’s live events company, is launching Women of Faith One Day events featuring a new focus in a more intimate setting than its two-day women’s events.

One Day events will tour to 16 cities on Saturdays—from Feb. 18, in Billings, Mont., to June 23 in Greensboro, N.C.—with the event billed as “a new in-depth experience for women to receive strength and encouragement all in one day.”

Women today “find themselves increasingly stretched for time, making it difficult to see the work God is doing in their lives,” said Carol Nygren, executive vice president and managing director of Live Event Management (LEM). “We want this completely new experience to allow our guests the ability to leave their troubles at the door, for just one day.”

Feedback following last year’s events revealed that guests wanted the ability to connect with speakers on a closer level, as well as a more detailed look at the speaker’s personal walk with Christ, increased biblical application and more humor, said LEM, announcing the move.

The One Day lineup features speakers Angie Smith, Sheila Walsh and Christine Caine, author Andy Andrews, comedian Ken Davis and new musical artists, including American Idol finalist Scott MacIntyre.

The Women of Faith brand includes the Women of Faith Devotional Bible and the Women of Faith Fiction line among its many products.
