‘God and Donald Trump’ Impresses Avid Trump Supporter Jim Bakker

Share:

In my new book God and Donald Trump, I say that no one supported Trump more (in my opinion) than my long-time friend, Jim Bakker.

In June 2016, he invited me on The Jim Bakker Show to talk about Charisma magazine devoting its October issue to Trump. I thought that, because of the Johnson Amendment, perhaps Bakker was using me as an excuse to talk about the election.

As time passed, he became more and more passionate that somehow it was God’s will for Trump to be elected, and what a disaster it would be if Hillary Clinton became president of the United States.

Ironically, the day I was on his program last year was the same day 1,000 pastors met with Trump in New York City. I felt appearing on The Jim Bakker Show was more important than going to that meeting, partly because I had already decided to back Trump, and partly because I was hoping for my own private interview with the Republican candidate, which happened approximately two months later.

Jim invited me back to his show recently to discuss God and Donald Trump. We taped four different shows, which began running Tuesday.

Jim said he thoroughly enjoyed the book. “This book will help you to really understand our president,” he said.

We’ve seen a big spike in sales, even though the book will not officially be released until Tuesday, Nov. 7. You can click here to view the first three shows or click here to view the broadcast schedule on venues such as CTN, Daystar, GEB America, The Word Network, World Harvest Television, AngelOne and AngelTwo.

I am encouraged by the early response to the book, and I hope you’re interested in reading it, because it’s as much about God, His will and the direction of our nation as it is about Donald Trump. I believe he is such a man for “such a time as this” (Esther 4:14c).

Special Preorder Offer!

I invite you to download a sample chapter by clicking here. See our exciting video trailer about the book. I hope it makes you want to purchase it. For more information, please visit GodandDonaldTrumpbook.com.

Preorder before Nov. 7, 2017, and get an exclusive bundle worth over $40, with access to a free subscription to Charisma magazine, the first three chapters of the book before release and the God and Donald Trump e-book.

I hope you tune in to see the program; it was an excellent interview, in my opinion. I really appreciate Jim’s involvement in the election, which I write about in the book, as well as his interest in the book and his willingness to invite me to appear on his program.

As always, please share this with your social media followers and leave your comments below. Help us get the word out about God and Donald Trump. {eoa}
