If you feel stuck in your relationship with God and have not experienced the breakthrough you’ve been praying for, there may be a simple reason for it, spirit-filled pastor Michael Todd says.
“Until you realize you need faith to please God and to reach your purpose, you are probably living below what God has called you to live,” Todd said in a sermon to his congregation at Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. “But you say, ‘I don’t want to fail and mess up my future.’ God says you are missing your future because your future is lived in faith.
“But it’s not just faith, we need to live in crazy faith. The definition of crazy faith is thoughts and actions that lack reason, but trusting fully in what you cannot explicitly prove. You need to trust fully enough to put your weight on it. I can’t prove to you that this will work, but for some reason, something on the inside is telling me that I have to move with this crazy faith.
“In an age where we believe in Google more than God, in an age where we need the facts and we’re checking people all the way down the list, what God is saying to you is that there is a level in this life that I’m going to ask you to do things that do not make logical sense. You may say, ‘I need to plan and to strategize,’ and God is saying that your strategy is Me.”
