Multi-platinum group Maverick City Music took home the 2022 Grammy for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for Old Church Basement with Elevation Worship. As a part of the star-studded evening at the top of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, Maverick City performed its smash hit “Jireh,” featuring Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine.
“Maverick City Music started with a dream to make the most segregated hour in America, Sunday mornings, an ancient pastime,” says Tony Brown, co-founder of Maverick City. “Breaking barriers by being nominated in every inspirational Grammy category is only the beginning. “Jireh’s” chorus, “You are Jireh, You are enough/ Jireh, You are enough/ And I will be content in every circumstance/ You are Jireh, You are enough” speaks to the hope, peace, love and strength available to us as we seek real relationship with God.
