Intercessors Target Government in Prayer at Awaken the Dawn

Prayer strikes on Washington, D.C.

As part of the Awaken the Dawn event, more than 500 people gathered to pray along on Pennsylvania Avenue this past Sunday to intercede for our government to come into alignment with God’s will. Pennsylvania Avenue runs between the White House and Capitol Hill. There is an obvious disconnect between the White House and Congress.

Many prophetic visions show a spiritual block between the two. Others have seen a significant negative spiritual pathway disrupting and bringing chaos between the two branches of government. These leaders need our prayers. Download a free guide to Pray for America’s Top Officials.

Whatever your opinion of the spiritual realities we are seeing manifested in the natural, our government needs prayer. At 3:30 p.m., smaller groups of intercessors gathered at the White House, the Capitol, the Supreme Court and the Newseum (to focus on media); the largest group prayed at the Supreme Court. We prayed in Matthew 18:19 unity: “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.”

This band of spiritual warriors agreed to pray specific Scriptures to see heaven and earth changed. They witnessed electric times of prayer with significant passion poured out. As the event concluded, they agreed to believe in faith that our Father’s mighty hand will move. They were encouraged to watch the newspapers for specific answers to their prayers. {eoa}
